Right now, you can sign up for Sky TV and Netflix Basic for free. As the deal is a 31-day rolling contract, you can cancel before you are billed. This deal is available until 31 March 2024.
To get this offer, you must sign up for Sky Stream, a box that gives you all the benefits of Sky without having to get a satellite dish or a brand-new telly. You simply plug it into your TV’s HDMI slot like an Amazon Fire TV Stick.
With it, you’ll be able to watch the best of what Sky has to offer – from staples such as Succession, The Last of Us and The White Lotus, to brand-new releases like Secret World of Sound with David Attenborough. You can also watch big Netflix hits like Avatar: The Last Airbender.

If you go for the 31-day rolling contract, then you’ll pay £29 per month after the free trial ends. If you’re committed to Sky Stream, then you could also opt for the 18-month contract for £26 per month, which also offers a one-month free trial.
Note that these prices are only valid throughout February and March, as from 1 April 2024 Sky will be increasing its prices for TV and broadband. The new prices will be £28 per month on an 18 month contract and £31 per month on a monthly-rolling one.
Therefore, if you’re prepared to have Sky for a long time, we recommend going for the long-term contract as you’ll save more by locking in for the lower prices.
The channels included in Sky’s Entertainment package include Sky Max, Sky Atlantic, Sky Showcase, National Geographic, Discovery and Eurosport.
If you want Sky Cinema, Sky Sports, BT Sports or Sky Kids, then you can add these as optional extras when you build your package (the Sports channels have discounts available, but only on the long-term contracts).
In addition, you will have to pay extra if you want UHD & Dolby Atmos (priced at £6 per month), and ad skipping (priced at £5 per month). These are both monthly rolling, so you can swap and change as you please.
As Netflix Basic is included, your streaming quality will be capped, and no simultaneous streams will be available. However, you can upgrade to either Netflix Standard (£4 extra per month) or Netflix Premium (£8 extra per month). You can read up on our comparison of the Netflix plans to see which is right for you.
