Tassimo has summer discounts on pod coffee machines bundled with coffee pods.
We’ve spotted a deal that would be a brilliant saver for students heading off to university, anyone looking for a machine for their home office, or regular coffee drinkers after a quick and easy way to get their caffeine fix.
For just £49.99, you’ll get a Tassimo Finesse machine, plus 72 pods of different coffee flavours and Cadbury hot chocolate. Sadly, this discount is UK-only.
There are several colour options available for the Finesse machine, including black, blue and dual colour models.
The discount isn’t necessarily quite as deep as Tassimo is suggesting. The brand claims you’ll save over £100 on this deal but, although the machine had a launch price of £119.99, you can now often buy a Finesse for around £40-£44. Prices vary from retailer to retailer: it’s available for £40 from Argos, while Amazon is selling it for £104.99.
Nonetheless, this discount bundle is still a significant saving. With your machine, you’ll also get 72 pods, with a value of £32.94, if bought separately. Here is what’s included:
- Costa Latte (8 pods)
- Kenco Americano Grande (16 pods)
- Cadbury Hot Chocolate (8 pods)
- Kenco Flat White (8 pods)
- Costa Americano (16 pods)
- Kenco Café au Lait (16 pods)
You’ll also be getting a very handy, easy-to-use coffee machine. We reviewed the Tassimo Finesse and rated it 4 out of 5 stars. We particularly liked its compact countertop footprint and the speed with which it brews coffee.

The Finesse has a 0.7-litre water tank and compact dimensions of 34cm deep by 12cm wide and 23cm high. It’s an automatic coffee machine, which means that it’ll read the barcode on a pod and dispense the correct amount of water for the drink you’re making. It also has an intensity boost function, for more of a flavour injection.
It’s compatible with the Tassimo T Disc range, which has coffee from Jacobs, Costa, L’Or, and Kenco, with a hot chocolate from both Cadburys and Milka, and a Tassimo tea range of Chai Latte and Green Tea & Mint. There are also four decaffeinated options from Kenco, Marcilla, L’Or and Cafe HAG, and a range of speciality pods, such as Creme Brulee Latte and Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate.
Like the Nescafe Dolce Gusto range, T Disc pods can make milky drinks as well: for these, you’ll get two separate pods – one for coffee, one for milk – and you brew them one after another.
